چکیده
Sweet potato is the seventh-ranked food crop produced after wheat, rice, maize, potato, barley, and cassava in world. It most important root tuber temperate, subtropical, tropical areas of grown for food, income-generating, jobs farmers retailers. The nutritional substances sweet potatoes are ß-carotene anthocyanins. However, production its valuable products limited due to root-knot nematode parasitism. One destructive species this Meloidogyne incognita. stage at second juvenile (J2). At stage, it invades roots tubers highly warm sandy soil conditions. an obligate plant-parasitic nematode. M. incognita caused significant yield loss terms quality, quantity, disturbing process photosynthesis nutrient uptake through formation galling, establishing feeding sites, or induced galls that contain giant-feeding cells, cracking directly. also reduces market values infected by downgrading values. problem quality quantity losses pest one major problems nowadays. alone interaction with other pathogens synergistic fungi, bacteria, viruses, others. Therefore, review paper focused on biology, taxonomy, geographical distribution, management measures.

The Nematodes are roundworms that are found in every environment of the earth. While some species are harmful parasites, others play a vital role in nutrient cycle and medical research. Nematode infestation in the fields is poly-specific; however, depending on the agro-climatic conditions, one or two species are dominant over the rest. The present studies attempts to observe and control the roo...

1. The second-stage larva of the plant parasitic nematode Heterodera rostocfaensis shows very little movement while confined to the egg; on the other hand, the larva of the closely related Meloidogyne incognita is very active 2. Using interference microscopy, it is shown that the water content of the Heterodera larva increases immediately it is liberated from the egg while that of the Meloidogy...

متن کاملTranscriptional Changes of the Root-Knot Nematode Meloidogyne incognita in Response to Arabidopsis thaliana Root Signals
Root-knot nematodes are obligate parasites that invade roots and induce the formation of specialized feeding structures. Although physiological and molecular changes inside the root leading to feeding site formation have been studied, very little is known about the molecular events preceding root penetration by nematodes. In order to investigate the influence of root exudates on nematode gene e...
